After having dined here before a couple of years back & having experienced the Blue Elephant restaurants in London & Dubai, we we really looking forward to our dining experience last night! Unfortunately it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. With only 2 of us and only 3 other couples, one would expect that that service would be... More

Dear Khun Phillip, I am sorry if you were let down by the evening spent at the Blue Elephant Phuket, I was informed by our suppervisor that your table took for ever to be served and went to inspect with the Kitchen, what happened? At $100 these classes aren't cheap, but if you can make green curry or pad thai half as well as chef Charles afterward then they're worth more than gold.

The old governor's mansion in Phuket Town provides a very dramatic setting for this exquisite restaurant. I've enjoyed Thai food for many years, and enjoyed Thai restaurants in other cities in Thailand, and around the world, but The Blue Elephant wins hands down for dishes that make you pause and think about the glorious mix of flavors you have just... There were 10 of us wanting to learn a bit about Thai cooking. We looked at a few options and settled on the Blue Elephant. It wasn't the cheapest but well worth the money. The Chef Tony was brilliant. His english was perfect and he was very informative. For our group we had a class room demonstration with mirrors and... More

We went to this restaurant mid afternoon as we had seen a advert saying it was open with a limited menu until 6.30pm - we arrived at 4.30 to be told restaurant was not open, but a lovely lady (assume the manageress) saw that we were disappointed (we had our 2 children with us) and checked to see if the... This is a place to go for lunch, tea or dinner. try their signature dessert COCONUT FLAN. Or you can take cooking classe there... I bought their elephant tea... More

I have often wondered what the result would be if one were to combine the basic ideas of Thai cuisine with modern cooking techniques. I got my answer when I went to eat at the Blue Elephant. The first time, I had the Legacy tasting menu. The second time, I had the Enoki Seafood Salad, Tom Yum Koong, and Black... More

I first went to this restaurant the week it opened. While I was a bit scared of the prices, it was a special night with family so we took the plunge. Although it was an expensive meal by local standards I felt it was money well spent. The manager Kim is a great, friendly helpful guy, and the rest of... More
