I used to go to this place each time i visit Mahabalipuram. Located in a peacefull street not far away from seeside, this without widows restaurant is now my canteen. Food is good, fish is fresh and ambiance is very cool for we family or friend moment.

We came here for breakfast everyday. The food is good and the filter coffee is very good also. The staff is friendly and fast service. They remember what you like and don't like. Good ambiance. Good value.

The cuisine here is more geared to Westerners. The food is tasty and service is excellent. But come early because the place fills up fast. Not sure why Nautilus isn't more popular with Indians, we found the food delicious and dined there for several consecutive meals when we were the only indians there. We stayed upstairs at the guesthouse, which is not on trip advisor and thought it was pretty good. 1000RS for big, clean, AC room. The food down stairs was ok for lunch but nothing to write home and tell your mummy about. Never had breakfast here because they were always closed, I think they may only open at the weekend... More
