Three of us went to this place after seeing the recommmendations online. The server we had was friendly enough but they seemed a little strange when it came to ordering. It took a while but then we ordered a pizza each, mistake, they were quite big. The tomato sauce on each pizza was barely on the thing and it was... More

Service is slow, but the wait staff are very sweet. All food is made fresh for you. We are vegan and they accommodated for us with our strange requests!

now at the Om hotel off the, main square and the top of temple road i hunted this cafe down from its old temple location as it has the best pizzas in town, gado gado tofu veg salad and my favourite the tofu in peanut sauce with a great view down to the valley

The Namgyal Cafe is no longer located at the exit of the Tsuglakhang (Main Temple) but is now in the Om Hotel, just down Nowrojee Lane (a small laneway running down from the main square). Pizzas are still great. A few new toppings have made in on to the menu. Momos are great. The only think I haven't enjoyed so... More

I love Pizza's and was not expecting a small town like this to serve Piazza's of this quality and flavour. Do try this when you visit McLeod Ganj.

The atmosphere here has to be interesting because the cafe is in His Holiness the Dalai Lama's Temple overlooking a wooded valley. The people who work in the cafe are from a school for Tibetan Refugee children in McLeod Ganj. These children in many cases, at a tender age, fled the cruel heel of Chinese occupation alone, leaving their families... More

Heres the thing - the pizzas are good and freshly baked. But they're vegetarian. Its a quaint little place a short walk down a sidey alley from the main square. The approach can put you off, but if you manage to get a table at this small place, you wont be dissapointed. Try to go when its still bright and... More

i was totally exhausted after climbing up the 300+ stairs from Namgyal monastery and needed a break. As a respite, came about Namgyal cafe, where i cooled myself with watermelon juice, walnut pizza and chocolate cake. The food tastes amazing, especially the pizzas; they are huge, loaded with toppings and come at a surprisingly reasonable price. I flipped through a... More

Though the cafe has been shifted but the taste remains the same.Firstly when reaching the old premises was a bit dissappointed but finally made the decision to go to the new place inside Om Hotel near mcllo square, and did not regret the decision. The best thin crust pizzas, and home made noodlea and thentuk.
