We were treated by our Children and grandchildren, their friends and their families, a party of thirteen all ages from babies to us 'old' folk. The food was excellent and the children were treated as guests to serve and not as a nuisance. We had dinner, three courses and drinks and were pleasantly surprised at the price.

We arrived at Clevery Mill Restaurant not really knowing what to expect as most of the reviews on here only mentioned the open fire (which is lovely) but nothing about the food. First of all we were welcomed and invited to sit by the fire and peruse the menu. There was a set menu for 24.99 which I picked. There... More

Me and my partner were spending St Patrick's week-end in Castlebaldwin (staying in Cromleach Lodge) and we came across this restaurant by chance as we wanted to find something reasonable around (more reasonable than Cromleach Lodge that is, which was lovely but excruciatingly expensive). We stopped by for lunch not knowing anything about the place, and the first impression coming... More

We stayed here for the weekend. It's a fabulous little place - a beautiful building, great food, fabulous fire place - all at a very reasonable price. The best thing about Clevery Mill however is the staff. They couldn't have been more attentive, or more welcoming. They looked after our every need and couldn't have done more for us.

This was an absolute fantastic find! We went for a family meal and the food was magnificent. The staff were friendly and what I loved about it is it was nice and quiet. We arrived and sat beside a lovely open fire with our bottle of wine before we were seated! We will definately return.

I stayed for one night with my partner, had a feeling it was going too be good from the moment we pulled up outside, its a beautiful stone building and actually has a working mill wheel! When we opened the front door we were greeted by a wall of awards which the place has won, the owner was very nice... More

My partner brought me to Cleverley Mill as a surprise birthday gift, and it really blew me away. It's such a beautiful place to stay, with heaps of character. We were greeted by the owners in front of a huge open fire, very cosy. The best part for me was the room, stunningly furnished in oak and pitch pine with... More

We had a superb night with Amanda and Patrick the hosts at Clevery. The food was gorgeous and as a chef myself I appreciated the skills of their chef. Congratulations to both of you in your new venture we will certainly be back. The Steak on the Stone was to die for. We could not fault it.

Dined here two days ago and was really looking forward to it as it's always been a special to eat here. Sadly it's under new management and it's no longer the same. It was late in the evening and the host didn't know what the soup of the day was without going to the kitchen to find out. She also... More
