This restaurant closed in July 2013 along with the one in Southport. Reason unknown but lots of gossip in the local area.
Like the previous review I also booked Tinker's for a large party - only to find out the building was up for sale to be told yes all ok and then the following week it closed - Contacted the Liverpool echo and they managed to contact Jay Tinker - who wouldn't comment.. Was assured I would get a call in... More
Food, service, can not be beaten, price was also very good though not a primary concern for me anyway. Very happy!
We visited your resturant in Aughton on many occasions and really enjoyed everything about it. What a let down, you could not even be bothered to contact us so we could have... More

Tinkers is a really nice restaurant and the food is superb and well priced. I visit most saturday afternoons when it is quite and relaxed - the perfect way to relax. The afternoon special is great value and of very high quality.
Comfort food with elegance, and service with a smile! A quiet Wednesday evening... but so glad we choose to visit! Unusual options...like ham, egg and chips for a starter! and Tempura jam butties for pudding! worth it not only for the novelty factor but for the fabulous taste. Three courses from a set menu for £17.95.. value for money! Hidden... More
