This was probably the most special dining experience of our lives. The set menu is 14,000 yen per person and cocktails and drinks are an additional approximately 1,500 yen each. If you want to sit in the lounge afterwards for coffee and chocolates, that is additional, too, and not really worth the cost, nor necessary, as the meal itself is... More

With very good food and lovely views Tapas Molecular Bar would get good grades even if it was just an ordinary restaurant. But this is no ordinary restaurant, it is something much more fun. In this restaurant the imaginative culinary arts is in focus, with cool cooking techniques, beautiful arrangements and taste sensations. Without being too pretentious the friendly chefs... More

If previous reviewers haven't convinced you yet to shell out the cash to experience Tapas Molecular Bar, then hopefully I can help: Just Go! You won't regret it. My husband and I were absolutely blown away by this experience and he's not a man that's easily impressed, especially by degustations :| We struggled to come up with a description because... More

Yes, it is expensive (£350 for two people including 2 bottles of wine and a cocktail) but it is worth it for a once in a lifetime trip/experience. Great food but also a great show. We loved the theatre created by the clever food - such as the mini glacier which made smoke blow out of your nose when you... More

If you go with an open mind and an even more open wallet you will enjoy this experience. We were two of six sitting at the small bar recently - so very small in size but exceptionally big in its thinking. Loads of small taster courses (about 20!) most of which were wonderful, and even those that just failed to... More

We tried several great restaurants in Tokyo... and Molecular Tapas Bar stood out, simply because it was just so different from anything we've had before. Yes, it's not for everyone (if you are not adventurous about food and prefer traditional fare, stay away) and it is not for an intimate romantic evening (you sit on a bar top, with max... More

This is a real experience, in a gorgeous space but it's not really an intimate dining experience. You and a few other people will be seated in a u-shaped formation around the chef, who will chatter endlessly about all the courses he's serving up. You'll be asked to guess what different things are, expected to react appropriately to each course,... More

I will begin by noting that this restaurant experience is not for everybody. Nevetheless, if you are the type who seeks out epicurean adventures and who enjoys wonderfully creative fun food, than this is a must try for you. The small seatings provide the perfect opportunity to enjoy the creations of the chefs. The menu varies and typically consists of... More
