If you are in Tagbilaran, this is a must try restaurant for filipino food. Very good food, great service, close location and affordable price.

The place was nice and homie. It was neat and very relaxing. The service was excellent they served the food with smile. And beyond that excellent service and ambiance the food was really good with the price of that will not make you say ouch in the pocket… If you visit Bohol It is a must to visit this Resto!
A classy restaurant that has good food to serve at a reasonable rate. Gerarda's "dinakdakan" is the best! It's something that I would want to eat everyday. If I would go back to Tagbilaran Bohol, this would be the first resto that I would go back to.
Gerarda's was recommented to us for traditional Filipino food and we were not disappointed.... in fact we went back again the following night. Both times we did not make a reservation. The ambiance, friendly and efficient staff and delicious dishes makes it a wonderful experience. Certainly the best we experienced in our 2 months of travelling in the Philippines. Highly...

Has this cozy-homey ambience. I love the fact that it has books on shelves and there are family pictures on the walls. The coke fridge looks out of place though. The staff are very warm and welcoming. It was very humble of one of the owner's daughters to serve us.
The food is delish! But the servings are reduced as...

On our last day at Bohol, we were brought to Gerarda's for lunch. This restaurant is located in the city. The place looks wonderful, i believe it is an old house converted to a dining restaurant , so the whole place have a homey feel to it yet it is refurbished on fresh modern lines and not overdecorated as most...

We were staying in the city for a night and looking for a good place for dinner.... Tripadvisor delivered!
Even though it is very close to the center, it is a little bit down a dark and rumbly street. Don't be discouraged!
The little restaurant is hidden away in the back, a nice, if a little bright room, with old-style...

Unlike other restaurants which oftentimes are chaotic, this one is spacious and quiet. With hardwood floorings, perfectly varnished dinner tables, restrained lightings and gentle colors, it creates a warm and pleasant ambiance without being pompous. In short, the interior design is just elegant.
Food was a typical local creation and proves to be very delicious. Service is excellent and staffs,...

Walking in the door and leaving behind the dust, dirt and noise of the unwelcoming streets of Tagbilaran, it's a tremendous surprise to find a sparkly-clean yet homely restaurant serving absolutely delicious top-notch Filipino cuisine with spotless professionalism! Best restaurant we visited during a month's stay in the Philippines, and with reasonable price.
We ate during lunch and dinner several times. What we like about the place is the "homey" atmosphere and of course their sumptuous food. Dinakdakan (sinuglaw pork in coconut sauce) is one of our favorite and a must try.
They are open from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (LUNCH) and 5:00PM to 10:00 PM (DINNER).
The only thing which is...
