Visiting at the end of the season, most restaurants were empty, however, this was still busy - we sat upstairs in the open air area. We had the dance show music from next door to accompany dinner. Our group had a mixture of seafood and pasta with a few bottles of wine and of course the chocolate desserts all were... More

We went on a Thursday night right around the start of dinner hours. We were seated right away on the second floor. The scenery is really great with a nice view of the ocean and we had a great view of the changing sky as the sun was setting. The claim to fame on the restaurant menu was how they... More

We tried the 4 restaurants that were most recommended by the main travel advisor pages in the internet. The conclusion was very easy: This is by fare the most delicious place on the island. My son mainly prefered the coconut milkshake whereas my preference was the fresh tuna with vanilla souce (Tahiti style). Ceviche was also the best I ever... More

The food is OK and we've found other places (La Kaleta) which serves better food. The portion is also very small here. The plus here is that they speak good English and the space is large (compare to other restaurants we've seen) with good view of the ocean.

The location by the shore meant great view. Second floor with sea breeze also offered a cool respite from the scorching sun. AND it had the best seafood I had on the island (and I tried many recommended restaurants). Places on Rapa Nui tend to overcook the fish, which is a shame since they have such a fresh supply. But... Even if the building does not promise a lot (end of the word, after all) but the owners are really hands on, devoted. Some of the food is remarkable and there is a great mix of locals and tourists. When the sun sets there are great ocean views and light effects if you are keen on capturing a photo meanwhile... More

We considered the lunch we ate at Au bout du Monde to be the best food we had on Easter Island. I dined on grilled (to order) tuna in a superb Tahitian vanilla sauce with fried sweet potatoes (the purple island variety). My husband enjoyed fettucini with grilled salmon. The cost, which included two soft drinks, came to the equivalent... More

Food is very good: pastas, ceviche, tuna, camotes were delicious; but also desserts were great (we tried chocolate mousse and creme brulee and were amazing). The position is delightful: just by the ocean with a view on some Moais. the only thing we did not like is that one night we were repeatedly asked to buy tickets for the ongoing... More

Had the local fish (tuna and kanakana) both nights I was there with the green curry sauce and without. Pretty tasty with the usual Easter Island high prices. A few days a week dinner comes with a free Rapu Nui traditional show at 9:30p that is pretty good.

The food here is amazing - the fish dishes are especially good. Try the fish in a sweet vanilla sauce! The proprietress says the recipe is a secret, but it is truly delicious! The dance show is excellent - so good I saw it twice while I was on the island!
