  "My husband and I have just come back from 2 weeks at Brisas. As soon as we got there we wanted to return there for future holidays. The staff are wonderful. The lady who makes the doughnuts is brilliant. Roberto's pizzas are second to none - you can choose whatever topping - so scrummy! Plenty ..."of food choices, with some food cooked to order while you watch. The only downsides were lack of umbrellas around the pool to get some shade as its too hot to sit in the sun all day, and the lack of diet coke at some of the bars. 24 hour food and drink available. 6 A La Carte restaurants to choose from, the Bucanero was the best. We found the pool in the Villa section to be a lot quieter during the day than the Hotel pool. Plenty of entertainment day and night. The aqua ballet is definitely not to be missed. Little bands pop up from nowhere to sing to you. Free Hobiecat and pedalos at the beach. Would definitely recommend doing the trips through the Hotel. Dine with Dolphins - what... " More >

BOOKING & GETTING TO THE RESORT We booked through Air Canada vacations, and our rep was at the airport to greet us and guide us to the correct bus that will bring us to the resort. The dri..."ve was on a chartered bus for 1 hr through the countryside. It was very strange to see concrete houses with roofs missing, etc, but were told this is due to the many hurricanes that have hit this region. Made me realize how blessed we are in Canada to have great housing. Upon arrival at the resort, it was clear that we would be very comfortable.. plenty of sofas and areas to lounge, with a drink or even a good book, although our vacation was more about water sports than lounging. OUR ROOM We stayed in the Mares (older section of the hotel) and were overjoyed to see that there were 3 beds in our room: 1 king sized bed and two "twin beds", as well as a balcony with full windows on two...   "We recently returbed from a brilliant two weeks at this resort. before we went we read some reviews on here (trip advisor) and to be honest were abit worried at the time. that worry was short lived as it became clear as soon as we arrived that the people writing bad reviews obviously dont go on ho..."liday for a good time they prefer to moan about it. on arrival at the airport we went to our travel rep and as soon as we got on the coach to go to the hotel we were given our allinclusive wristbands, checked in and given our room keys so when we arrived at the hotel all we had to do was drink our cocktail wile our bags were bought up to the room. the rooms were cleaned everyday and had air con and electric safe included. they are basic but couldnt realy expect more for an all inclusive resort the roon wasnt were we wanted to spend our holiday anyway. food choice was exellent. whole fish,prawns,steak,chicken,pork all cooked fresh infront of you on order. didnt que there no more than 10...
