  "i stayed there last year for two days and the was awe-struck by the heritage content of the hotel. managed by steve borgia of indeco group of hotels , whose yercaud hotel i had visited earlier, i was expecting a good stay and was not failed. but what surprised me was the authentic south indian tradi..."tional food including tiffin and meals. the sambar was excellent and the rasam in the meals section was awesome. even the innocuous idli and vada was made good. the coffee is excellent and whats more, the rooms were neat though not very big. the furniture is sparse but adequate. all antique furniture and flooring make the stay a wonderful remembrance ! I was elated to learn that subramaniya bharathi had stayed in the village before it became a resort. there is a small stream near by with a vinayagar temple (idol) and i also learnt that the great kanchi mahaa periyavaa used to do his daily ablutions and prayers here and has commented about the positive vibrations here. the entire village was ...   "I visited kumbakonam in May 2013 for two days along with my family. We enjoyed the stay there. Rooms are spacious. Very good restaurant with good food. Away from congested town unlike other hotels. Staffs are courteous and supportive. The property is well maintained."
