We were the only English people there when we arrived and the hotel was dominated by them. We open the doors ..."for some and let people in front of us and not one thank you, in the lift one day it stopped on a floor and some French idiot shouted through a hooter and scared everyone in the lift obviously drunk.. When the British people arrived the whole experience got a lot better. Overall we really liked the hotel, the bedroom was massive a bit too many beds for my liking, two singles and two doubles , the balcony was massive and we had a view of the bay and the sea. The rooms were kept very clean and the beds were comfortable, only downside was no tea making facilities which we would expect in an all in. Just yards from the beach (although the beach is very shingly, not the soft white sand you would hope for!) the location is great. If you stay here you MUST book the Chinese restaurant! Entertainment was first rate, Beijing acrobat show being one of the highlights, something different every night.   "We have just returned from another great value for money holiday at the San Miguel Hotel. We normally have several holidays a year staying at 3 - 5 star all inclusive hotels, but find this hotel a gem! This was our sixth visit, most of the people holidaying here are already also returning guests. ..." It is an excellent 3 star hotel in a fabulous location with a view that you will never get fed up looking at. The staff work very hard to keep it Spotless. The rooms and beds are very clean and comfortable but basic, our sheets were changed at least 4 times in the week. You can pay a deposit and get a tv card that will give you English tv, i.e BBC, and ITV. The food in the restaurant is excellent with show cooking, the cuts of meat used are not cheap as we have had in other all inclusive hotels, We had 3 special evenings during our week, cheese, fish and carvery.
