We had power and even 3G mobile access but no TV and no air-con...... We had intended to sleep in on the first morning but we didn't count on automatic sprinklers at 5am which sounded like someone hosing the garden right beside our "tent" and an hour or so later, workmen driving past to a nearby work site. On the bright side, we did sleep well and didn't wake up in a high humidity puddle of sweat; we ended sleeping under a sheet with the fan on low.   "We stayed in a 1 bedroom cabin with our 17 month old. Initially concerned that this wouldn't be suitable as the porta cot had been set up in the living room, however with a bit of "jiggling" of the bedroom furniture we managed to get the porta cot in there. The kitchen/ living area is a good size an..."d the 1 bedroom cabin served us well. The cabin was clean and serviced daily, this hasn't always been the norm for 1 bed cabins/ apartments we've stayed in the NT. The swimming pool is lovely and kept nice and clean. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but the menu wasn't just your typical NT fare of Snitzel and steak. The grounds are well maintained, it is a very peaceful setting. The location is great as you are central and can easily get to places like Ubir or yellow waters. There is a lovely little bakery in Jabiru also, and a play park by Jabiru lake. We got a good rate as we stayed low season, I'm sure that it could get pricey in the high season, however that's just the NT.... " More >
