The standard of cleaning is first rate which includes clean towels every day. On arrival, we were upgraded to a first floor river view apartment. T..."here are some apartments outside the complex which prevent a total view of the river from the apartment, but the majority of the view was available looking across the river to Portimao. Portimao is very built-up, resembling a mini version of the Manhattan skyline. Ferragudo is much smaller, although there are a large number of apartments around the hills overlooking the village centre. In the village square, there are several fast-food outlets and restaurants, and along one of the side streets we found Taberna Casa Verde which, although it has been trading for some 50 years, has been recently taken over by a young lady. We were even in doubt if it was a clever idea to give our opinion, since we would really like One2Seven, to be our own secret jewel. They are both very helpful, always happy to give you more information about a trip or make a reservation for you. The rooms are very nice, but the holiday houses are really amazing. The modern and super clean house gives you a Malibu feeling. Right next to the swimming pool, lots of space and great views (big windows and 3 balconies). You can find privacy on your private roof top. Ferragudo is a very good location to discover the Algarve. Lots of restaurants in walking distance.
