  "My cousin in Sondrio recommended Piazzi House, which is run by Alberto, a friend of his. It was a great recommendation. We had a 'two room' apartment which is really a very large living/kitchen are with a bed/couch, a large bedroom and a separate bathroom/toilet in between. The 3 of us (2 adults and..." a 15 yo 'adult') had plenty of space during our 2 week stay. The apartment was well heated in December, there was free wi-fi and regular cleaning by the the excellent Monica. In addition there was a laundry downstairs for use at no charge with a front loading washing machine (very unusual in my experience in this type of accommodation) and a dryer. Secure car parking is also available. Not so good, depending on your perspective, were the cooking arrangements. Two small electric hotplates and enough basic equipment to do coffee and pasta but I guess there is something intrinsically Italian about that.   "Very good breakfast, environmental conscious and very friendly service. Approriate for family vacation and excursions with friends. Sanitary rooms in very good conditions, clean. Nicely renovated town house with fenced garden. Motorbikes could be parked safely within property."
