Breakfast every morning was different, with local specialities and delicious home made cakes. My standard room was really well appointed. The big dou..."ble bed was comfortable with a great big mosquito net. The rooms are nicely and simply styled with a good-sized bathroom. The pousada is located within a 5 minute walk of rua Pituba, where all the restaurants are. It's about 10 mins to the bus station and 15 - 20 mins to the beach. The grounds are lovely, with a chill-out area and a pool with sun-deck. It's really peaceful. I could have stayed there for weeks! If you stay, ask the staff about doing an ecological trip with Joao in the dug out canoe that his father made 20 years ago. He's a really nice guy and very knowledgeable about the local wildlife.
