  "I recently stayed at the Hotel Slavia in Grodno. It is a small boutique hotel in the center of town with excellent access to everything. For 55 Euros, you get a suite with breakfast and air conditioning. Breakfast is excellent (except they only toast white bread, not black, and of course a *small* c..."up of coffee)-you can choose from omelettes, fried eggs, and other protein choices plus cereal, etc. For no extra charge they will bring it to your room at the time of your choosing. The bed is kingsize and super comfortable. Room includes a hairdryer. Unfortunately, there are few sockets, and are misplaced--as in all Belorussian hotels--but in this room there were at least two in the bathroom and one near the desk. Also, includes free wi-fi. The big problem with this hotel is that on the weekends weddings are held in the restaurant and the music is unbearably loud. Unfortunately, the two rooms with air conditioning are placed just above the restaurant and it is best to stay out of the hotel... " More >

  "The hotel has a central location, not far from the bus station. The staff is very friendly, wifi is free, the room was spacious and the bed very comfortable for being in CIS. Break fast was ok. No buffet and not much food, but tasty."

The restaurant is very good with a wide selection. It is also extremely good value. For breakfast there is single choice of three op..."tions; omelette, porridge or pancakes with ham and cheese. There is also bread, jam, an apple turnover, fruit and yoghurt brought to the table. The hotel is very helpful and provided us with a packed breakfast when we had to check out early. " More >
