  "Only let down by "sub-contracted" dinner"
  "Upon arrival, our double-bed room had been mistakenly switched by a twin-bed room. Without any problems, they exchanged our room for the only double-bed room available, the *suite*! And wow, what a suite. Apart from a mild taste in decoration, the bed was huge, the couch was really comfortable, and ..."the room itself was very very cosy. Sadly the TV did not have Portuguese channels, as the Digital-TV receiver was broken. Apart from room, which was great, the hotel was a small inner "garden" with orange trees and chairs/tables, very nice to spend hot summer afternoons in the shade. The swimming pool is also great, converted from an old washing tank, which is a bit bizarre, but great nonetheless. The breakfast was a feast (for my standards), and the typical bread from Alentejo was "the real thing". The home-made cookies were just great, please do never stop having them :) Although it wasn't the hotel's fault per se, our dinner experience at an "associated" restaurant was just terrible...   "We were very impressed by the central atrium. Our room was huge, with valued ceiling, a small fridge, and modern bathroom. Breakfast selection was good, with everything nice and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful. We could have stayed longer."
