We went on a four day fishing trip and surprisingly, given the short notice we had given them, a very well organised one at that. We caught an abundance of Mackerel, Tuna (both bluefin and dogtooth) and 'samurai salmon'. It was THE best fishing I have ever done! Yes, it was a little bit expensive but after non-stop hits, it was well worthwhile. As avid spear-fishermen, they were able to cater for our needs in that regard too.   "I stayed here for five days on a recent work-related trip to Alotau, which is always wonderful to go back to, but it was my first opportunity to stay at Napatana. The kitchen is open more or less constantly (unlike some places in PNG where they won't serve you 5 minutes outside of posted dining hours) and I heartily recommend the ham, tomato, cheese and sweetcorn pancakes. They're a 10 minute PMV ride or pleasant half-hour walk to the town centre, and they will arrange village stays in many nearby parts of the province if you ask.
