The staff w..."ere very helpful and friendly and what characters! The hotel is in a gorgeous setting and we were so glad to be out of Sorrento its self. The hotel courtesy bus makes that no problem - it runs frequently throughout the day. We went on the Amalfi drive with Thomson but it is possible to do this independently. Well worth doing- we loved it, especially Ravello! we visited Capri which was no problem on our own- so busy but worth a visit! Other guests said the same about Pompeii etc. We were so glad of the all inclusive because out of the hotel things were so expensive - two coffees in Capri 12 euros- two cokes in the harbour at Sorrento 9 euro.   "Just returned from a fantastic holiday. Relaxing location in the mountains with great views. Fabulous contemporary room with comfy bed- best ever slept in located in main hotel with en-suite with double sinks/showers. Friendly hotel,attentive staff in all areas of the Hotel- nothing too much trouble...". Regular courtesy bus giving easy access to Sorrento and the port to visit Capri, Naples,Positano . Delicious food, particularly the lunches alfresco by the pool with bottles of wine served in wine coolers and not forgetting Peroni on draft which was a winner with the men! Emma and Pete entertained us with their fab voices and guests danced the night away. Loved every minute of our stay. The hotel is set high up in the hills with spectacular views and surrounded by well kept beautiful gardens/grounds. The staff and service are the tops and were very attentive without being intrusive. The food was to suit every taste and diet, and was so appetisingly displayed and arranged on the diners plate, the entire dining room experience was sheer bliss from the greeting at the door and being shown to a table and seated, to the exit from the dining room. A word of advice...do expect to gain weight! the food is so tempting with outstanding tastes. Every lady entering the dining room is made to feel very special and the gents also get a personal greeting.
