  "A short walk from the centre, the Mari Carmen offers excellent value and free wi-fi but breakfast is not included. Our room was comfortably furnished and we'd stay here again if we're in the area. Guadix is an interesting old town with the cave dwellings and picturesquely decaying old buildings."

  "We booked this as we wanted the cave experience which is exactly what we got. We had a cave on the top level which had fantastic views over the Sierra Nevada mountains which still had snow on the tops when we stayed at the end of May. The cave itself was fine with a lovely tiled bathroom, plenty o..."f hot water and a comfy bedroom and a living room with a fridge, sofa and table. One of the lights wasn't working in the bedroom but we told the staff and they came along with a new bulb which unfortunately didn't fit so they brought us table lamps. There was a seat at the end of the walkway which was lovely for sitting and relaxing and enjoying the surrounding views of the countryside. There was building work being carried out on the upper level so to avoid this you might be better on the lower level, but the views from the top are better so it's a matter of choice. It was hard to find but if you follow the directions given on Booking.Com where it says 'slight right' it is in fact a right... " More >
