The staff could not have been more helpful. They were happy to arrange expeditions and equally happy if we had arranged them ourselves in town. Although the free hotel shuttle back from nearby Candidasa finishes quite early ( last one back at 19.15) the hotel was happy to send a driver for us later when we had eaten at one of the many restaurants there. Most restaurants in Candidasa have a free pick-up and drop-off service, you should try them too. From 3 to 5 pm a free afternoon tea is offered in the garden, with a choice of herbal tea or coffee and Balinese sweets -- yummy! A complimentary Shuttle service to Candidasa is available every 2 hours during the day.For exploring the island or just a simple transfer to the 30 min away white sand beach we recommend a local driver from the village for a good value. What a great experience to drive with PUTU, he was so friendly and told us good storys about the Island and the culture from Bali. He also is a very secure driver, Balis traffic is crazy and we felt always save with him. We booked him a few more days to get around and show us Bali. In the villa there are some supplies such as drinking water and soft drinks for a very reasonable price. Wine and Beer are also provided. We booked breakfast and it was super delicious every day.
