You come in on this crazy, muddy, potholed road to the middle of nowhere, winding through a village and past a moldy old mosque. There you will find a large, open air restaurant/bar with comfy chairs for lounging, pool table, and books etc. Upstairs are the house rooms and then beyond the lodge are 4 or 5 huts on stilts with views of the rice paddies. I stayed 3 nights in one of the huts on stilts. Very basic but clean and so much fun. The shared bathrooms have bucket flushes and the water pressure is so poor you will also be taking bucket showers. But everything is clean and it's all part of the rustic experience of the place.
