  "We booked this hotel through a 3rd party site and got a good price on a last minute room. From the time we arrived, we were greeted with polite and helpful employees. Our room was very nice and clean. We had a nice view of the river and the bridge. The only complaint I would have would be thin towel..."s in the bathroom, but they did their job. We really received over the top service as we returned from a hot run in downtown Savannah. The bellman, Robert, noticed us and offered us a bottle of water to refresh us. There was always a focus on a good customer experience from the staff in every area at the Hyatt- from the check in desk, server at the coffee shop and Zee in the Vu lounge and even in the gift shop. No matter where we were in the Hyatt, we could see the focus on their guests. The location was perfect. We didn't have a car during our 3 day trip and walked every where we wanted to go downtown. Overall, it was a clean fun place to stay within walking distance of everything in the historic district which was exactly what we were looking for. The farthest we had to walk was a..."bout 25 min to Forsyth Park, which we didn't mind since it allowed us to see more of the squares and beautiful homes! They were running behind on getting the rooms ready when we stayed. We had to wait 30 min in the lobby. They were planning to put in new AC units this week so there was a bit of construction in the rooms for prep that they gave a discount for. The discount was running about the same price as I had gotten using Orbitz to book. Since I had already paid through Orbitz, they gave a discount for next time.
