After some research for a lovely inn in the area, I narrowed it down to two but couldn't stop going back to the description and photos of Journey Inn. I am beyond delighted that I settled on this one!! From the moment we checked in (always between 4-6pm), we were greeted with the warmth and kindness of recent owner, Valerie. After a short tour of the home, which is decorated with such precise attention to detail, we were shown our room, a lovely 2nd floor room. Just to keep this thought in mind, some of the rooms have ensuite bathrooms and some of them have private bathrooms across the hall. We stayed in the Roosevelt room which was very clean and had 2 comfortable twin beds with crisp white sheets. Ths room has a private bathroom in the hallway right near the room which was large with 2 sinks and very clean. Each morning we had a tasty prepared breakfast while enjoying conversation with the many other guests around a nice large dining table in a wonderful great room that also has a large seating area, reading library and large fireplace.
