  "We chose Manteo and the Roanoke Inn for our 20th Anniversary. We had no reference points and based our choice solely on the internet so I was a little nervous that everything would be nice. The Roanoke Inn was more than we could have dreamed. It is absolutely lovely and the grounds are gorgeous. ..." Dee was so gracious and helpful during our stay. We consider she and Sarah our friends now. Each room is beautiful and has its own theme. Choosing a room with a bay view is very nice but if they are full the views of the garden/yard would not disappoint. The Inn provided bicycles to tour the extensive waterfront district and umbrella and chairs for the beach. The continental breakfast, snacks and drinks were all we needed each day. The town of Manteo is charming. There is a beautiful waterfront area, extensive boardwalks and alot of history to enjoy. We definitely hope to return someday.. " More >
