Town is ten minutes away, and National Forest is 5 minutes away, hiking, biking, antiquing, everything for everyone is here. If your child attends D&E College, this is a great place to bunk during your visit. These cabins beat the heck out of expensive, crowded, crappy ski accommodations at Canaan Valley or Snowshoe and are well worth the short drive to ski in winter. The Tree House has fewer bedrooms and only one bath so I'd recommend it for a couple or small family. (We has a 14 month old with us, and she was safe and happy).   "We stayed at the Hampton because it is in the area we were visiting, and I am very happy we did! The hotel appears to be fairly new. The beds and bedding are extremely comfortable, soft, and clean. We will stay here again."
