  "As Activities Director with the Roanoke Ski Club I thoroughly enjoyed working with Heidi and Dave prior to and during our recent visit (June, 2013) to this very special Inn! What a "gem" I found while doing my research for lodging for our 3-day weekend adventure! Not only a terrific location (clo..."se to I-81 & I-64) but so many interesting places to see and excellent restaurants within a short distance from the Inn! We had all rooms in the Inn reserved for our group, plus a cottage and several cabins. No complaints from anyone on their lodging, complimentary evening wine, delicious breakfasts each morning and.....the bottomless cookie jar was certainly a HIT with our group! We enjoyed gathering as a group or individually on the many decks with rockers and swings....or in the great room with lovely decor! One evening a group of us headed to downtown Waynesboro (5 minute drive) to Kline's Dairy Bar for a taste of their delicious ice-cream not to mention an excellent meal the eve... " More >

  "We had a fine experience in this hotel. Our room was clean and had adequate accomodations for a one-night stay. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast the following morning was very nice, esp. for a continental breakfast, as advertised. We had eggs and bacon, fruit, yogurt...." There were cereals, baked goods, and a waffle maker. The breakfast area was clean even though it was very busy the morning we were there. Overall, we had a good experience here and left for the day at Monticello. " More >
