  "Me and my partner stayed here for a week at the beginning of June, we booked last minute and didn't pay a great deal so didn't expect a lot. We were pleasantly surprised, the hotel was clean, the staff were brilliant and the location was perfect. We went self-catering so can't comment on the food bu..."t we had drinks in the bar every night before going out. I know people say that it's full of Germans, there's no disputing that but shops and restaurants are more than happy to speak English and change menus over, they never once made us feel unwelcome. If there is one thing that we would say wasn't great was the fact that our fridge didn't work in our room, or the TV, but seen as we hardly spent any time in the room, it didn't bother us. There was only one day in the week that we stayed that the cleaners didn't come. The beach and harbour are nearby and are lovely places to visit during the day and in the evening.   "This was the best holiday we've had in years! We just loved The Sea Club ..... its' location, its' colonial charm and the best hosts ever! Nick, Jenny and Luis (plus two cats and two dogs) really made us feel welcome. We stayed in room 2 at the front of the property and had a marvellous view of t..."he sea from our little terrace and from the room itself. That said, we spent little time in the room (other than to sleep) because the grounds of the Sea Club are so lovely .... great pool, beautiful flowers, plenty of sun-loungers and an 'honesty bar' where we helped ourselves to drinks at any time of day. Cala Ratjada is a very pretty area of Majorca and easily accessed by good roads. One thing I would say, is to read all the reviews carefully before deciding whether this hotel is for you. The Sea Club is certainly a 'one-off', a little a gem which smacks of the past. It is not a glossy, all mod-cons building. It is quirky and we loved it. Thank you guys! Sally & Mike xx " More >

Couldn't fault my stay in this hotel. I'm glad I never took heed of the reviews. You get what you pa..."y for and if people want 5 star luxury/food/service then they should pay for it instead of slating perfectly good 3 star hotels. Would recommend to anyone and am planning another trip to stay at same hotel. It did exactly what it said on the tin. 3 star, quiet (they have no entertainment which I actually liked). The pool is a good size too. We had the one bed apartment (two balconies) which had everything we needed . " More >
