It should be said that the chalet itself is lovely and the skiing (never been to this area before) was truly fabulous with great variety for everyone. The resort is absolutely gorgeous and fairly compact so no massive walks between one place or another, and the free resort buses are regular and modern. However, the jewel in the crown is the service provided by our hosts, along with their top notch food and wine which is every bit as good as other reviewers have said. I went on a package with the Ski operator Snowcoach who own the hotel. This is not a 5* property but it is a typical ski hotel. It..." could do with a lick of paint and more modern bathrooms but this is more than made up for by the atmosphere around the hotel. In the winter the guest are predominantly from the UK and are all keen on skiers. They are always very friendly and as a solo traveller they are very welcoming. This is one reason I have travelled with Snowcoach previously. The ski area with the Evasion pass is vast and will keep even the most energetic skier busy.
