I was accidently overcharged but was quickly refunded when I brought this to the owners attention. On the morning we were due to arrive I was notified that the spa wasn't working (no fault of the owners) so was refunded the $50 extra payed for use. On the first night we were all sitting in the lounge when we see a man on the deck near the spa. We all got a fright! Turns out it was the owner of the property coming to check the spa. I understand they own the property but we would have appreciated a knock on the front door letting us know he was going around the back rather than just walking in! This happened again the next day! I wouldn't call some of the fixtures and fittings high end luxury, but it all worked and it felt homely. The service from Louise & Rob was personalised, warm, without being over bearing, including a call the day before arrival to ensure they knew our breakfast preferences. We were welcomed warmly and Louise went to extra effort to ensure we had everything we needed (I'm heavily pregnant and it was nice to be cared for so well) the grounds are so pretty and the resident pony and alpaca are a joy to see out of the bedroom window!
