  "I cannot recommend Coul House enough if you are looking for very high quality cuisine in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. The service was second to none and the menu diverse and interesting. As I am a vegan we got in touch with them before we went and I ordered my dinner over email, although ..."there was nice choices for the vegetarian of our group on the night. Coul House went out of their way to accommodate my needs, emailing back and forth checking what I could and couldnt have. I had a lovely pickled pear, beetroot, rocket and lentil salad for starters. This was followed by pearl barley risotto with pine nut on a potato rosti, with sundried tomato jus. The flavours were amazing and everything was beautifully presented. Chris the front of house manager had also got to the extra effort of getting a vegan wine in for me, although I hadnt even mentioned that most wine isnt vegan. This time only for one night but we like to look out for special offers earlier in the year to celebrate birthday, anniversary etc Everyone from front of house to waiting and cleaning staff are friendly and helpful.. The building is love..."ly both outside and in, and there are some interesting features in the gardens - pitch and putt, a fairy trail for young (and old) etc Coul House is a very well run "establishment" (too cold a word for it) So relaxing, warm, comfortable ,with excellent service & food - all top notch.
