  "I had the best time in Avonlea. We all felt right at home, even better. This was my first time at a bed and breakfast and after this place it won't be my last. Everyone was so friendly while at the Inn or while we were out and about the Island the innkeepers would inquire if you were having a good time. I felt so safe staying there, and todays day and age that means a lot. I plan on going back as soon as I can. Cassandra,Christy and Meg are all so sweet.   "We wanted a little escape for our 20th wedding anniversary and we found it here at the Avonlea. The views from the porch were breathtaking. I just wanted to sit on the front porch the entire time. The staff Meg and Casandra were amazing. They both go out of their way for the guests. We stayed in the..." diamond room for the separate entrance from the outside. Plenty of room for two people. The beds were extra comfortable and great view from the room. We were able to get a little tour of each room and every room has something special to offer. Amethyst is smaller but the views made up for it. Emerald also has great views and the bathroom is awesome with a king bed! For the best views get the moonstone! We went on off season which made it even better felt like we had the whole island to ourselves.
