From the time we exited at the Donegal exit off the Pennsylvania Turnpike we were delighted with our decision. The drive is a scenic byway of lovely pastures and rolling hills. The town of Ligonier was a delight, with its bandstand, small shops and restaurants. Colonial House is on the old Lincoln Highway, Rt. 30, so it is historically a route of inns and places to eat. Dawn is the Innkeeper, and she met us at the door with warmth and hospitality. Anyone..." getting that package needs to ADD ON the Fruit and Cheese Platter adding that to the package after the massage made it even more romantic. We had such a wonderful time. The breakfast was nothing short of amazing. Large portions and great taste. Dawn is just awsome, she will pamer and treat you like royalty.
