  "Just returned from a four-day/three-night trip to Bandon Dunes with a group of friends. During that time we played 94 holes of golf. Other than the fact we now can barely move, it was a great trip. Other than golf, there really is nothing else to do -- but that's exactly why you go there, for the..." golf. The accommodations are fine -- they are nice, clean, and modestly appointed, but they are not Four Seasons / Ritz Carlton standard. But that doesn't matter. You go there, you eat, you golf, you maybe have a cocktail or two, and you sleep. Then you do it again the next day! A few highlights / notes: 1) Lodging -- we stayed in The Inn and were lucky enough to have a bottom floor room which had a small outdoor sitting area and faced the 18th green on the Bandon Dunes course. With one of the resort's bars just a few steps away, we had the perfect after-round spot to watch the groups finish up. A great way to end the day.
