Good food and beer - a Fullers pub. Had a light lunch which was excellent, whilst sitting in the sunshine at the front of the pub. We missed breakfast by a good hour in the morning but the chef and waitress sorted out great coffee and freshly baked pastries to cure our mild hangovers! I would suggest requesting rooms at the back overlooking the car park as they are quieter. We booked via Booking.com and got a very good rate - £75. We stayed in room 103 which is right next to reception and the lift, and thought it would be noisy - but it was absolutely fine! The room was clean and bathroom spotless.   "We booked to stay at Warren House for our trip to see the Derby at Epsom. Annoyingly the hotel was actually nearer to our home than Epsom but that was bad planning on our part. Having said that the hotel was really lovely. We had a charming room over looking the beautiful gardens and a nice touch ..."was a decanter of sherry that we were invited to help ourselves, we didn't. Breakfast was fair enough but could have been a little more choice. Dinner was a little disappointing. I chose the 'healthy option' of Baked Salmon which had been fried to death. I did return it and the second attempt was so much better. The hotel, with all it's Victorian charm, looked to me like it would be a lovely place to spend Christmas and we might just do that.
