  "We spent the night at Cranberry Cove in the summer of 2011 before touring the Fort Louisbourg Site the following day. It is a beautiful old house in a quiet location with plenty of guest parking. We stayed in the Isle Royal room. The room was quiet, (even with the B&B being full) and comfortabl..."e, very clean and the staff were very pleasant to deal with. Breakfast was good, and the price for our room for the night was reasonable at $120. Wireless internet was also convenient as I usually travel with a laptop. There are a couple local restaurants nearby for lunch and supper within walking distance, however selection is fairly limited; Louisbourg is a small town. You can also eat in the Fort at a couple different historically themed "restaurants" if you are visiting this sight. We were pleased with our trip and recommend this location to anyone traveling to Louisbourg for its comfort and convenience. " More >

Linda, her husband, and the Point of View staff accommodated us in spectacular fashion, overcoming unforeseen obstacles to make sure we had a fantastic lobster supper -..." one of the highlights of our Nova Scotia holiday. We were served a multi-course homemade meal in an atmosphere that made us feel like we had been invited into someone's home. Linda is happy to share her wealth of information about the history of Louisbourg and is a wonderful ambassador for the town, the fort, Cape Breton and the province of Nova Scotia.
