Close to Corning, easy access to I-86 and/ or secondary roads for exploration of wine country. The Hampton at Painted Post, near Corning, NY, is a good example of ‘the difference’. First, the Inn is undergoing extensive renovations. Although not complete, many of the rooms are finished, and we received one. It was tasteful and bright, and business types will appreciate the rollout desk, large workspace, and other features. They also added a mini-fridge and microwave oven. When the renovations are completed, this hotel will have an edge on others in the area, even though it looks the same on the outside. Second, staff makes a difference, and this Hampton Inn has a terrific group of genuinely friendly and helpful... " More >
