  "Back in 2008 we stopped at the Gessert´s for three nights on the way from WHK to the Fish River Canyon. We enjoyed the breathtaking breakfast and the nice garden as well as the warm and magnificent hospitality. The rooms very nicely decorated and clean.The hosts always had a nice word especially wit..."h our son (aged 5) and they helped wherever they could. We went on an outing near Rooipunt Farm to see the "Singing Rocks". The landlord helped with the directions and told us to send an sms telling him that we were back on the main (tar) road as the singing rocks are in a remote area. They really cared!!! Other attractions to been seen are Quiver Tree Forest, Mesosaurus Fossils and Quiver Dolorite Park, Giant´s Playground and Keetmanshoop´s "old German influence" as in buildings.
