  "We stayed here the first two weeks of May 2013 for our first visit to The Gambia. We stayed in a premium suite in block 10, As many have said the rooms are looking a little tired but the room was kept clean and was very comfortable. We had an issue with noisy air con in the bedroom when shown the..." room but within an hour a Maintenon guy was there and cured the problem. No further probs with air con. It was used every day and night and was very welcome. Plenty of choice at breakfast, no problems for us. The grounds were kept very clean and at the time of our visit they were replacing the plants in baskets and pots and seemed to be doing a great job. Staff were all friendly. Pool area was great, had no issues with getting sunbeds as hotel was very quiet. Pool bar guys come round often asking if you need anything. My only negative was the spa/beauty salon.
