  "I just quickly skimmed a few other recent reviews of the Quality Inn in Jamaica (Queens) NY, and agree with the jist of what others had to say (i.e., convenient to public transportation, near JFK airport, good location and "needs a deep clean".) The hotel's location is in a somewhat industrial pa..."rt of Queens, and no pretty views out of the windows, but that didn't bother me at all. In fact, the hotel was exactly as I expected it to be. I needed a room at a good price for a trade event I was working at in late April in Manhattan, and the Quality Inn was exactly what I was looking for. I arrived early on a Saturday evening, and inquired about restaurants nearby, and was suggested a Portuguese Restaurant nearby that I declined as I'm not really into Portuguese food.
