Getting a chance to stay there again was great, but getting to stay with Wendy and Bonsil was an extra added treat, (excuse me Bonsil if I misspelled.} We were greeted with all the hospitality of long lost friends. The house is quaint a..."nd gorgeous with many beautiful paintings done by Bonsill's Grandmother and my favorite, by Bonsill himself a Mule that is in the Library, upstairs. At the time we were there the Cumbres/Toltec train was not running so there wasn't a lot to do, in town, but that area has some of the most beautiful scenery that you will ever find. But who needed anything other than enjoying this lovely home, fantastic Innkeepers, and hearing their stories about the part of the world? Our hope is to return soon. " More >

  "We ended up in need of a room while visiting family nearby. When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk agent was very nice and accommodating. We arrived at the hotel a little after midnight and she was quick to get us into our room. The room rates were unbeatable. The hotel offers cabins as we..."ll as regular hotel rooms. Our room was a double room that had 2 queen beds. The beds were very comfy, and we were surprised to find a small refrigerator and microwave in the room too. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit the area. We travel to the area at least once a year, sometimes twice and now know where we'll be staying if we are in need again. " More >

  "Very nice place, nice people. We were unable to get wireless internet in our room, though we were told that people further away from the office were able to get it. But we had to go to the office to get it. This was not a big deal. I reported it to the attendant so perhaps she can do something a..."bout it. The room was clean and did not have any odors.
