  "It was a most enjoyable stay in a motel, beginning at the front desk with Nick, who helped my dearest childhood friend and I find the best possible room, all the way to packing our bags to leave. The clean, spacious suite and the nicely equipped exercise room, the variety of choices for the breakfas..."t bar, the free wi-fi and the nice comfy bed were my favorites. My friend brought a bottle of wine but forgot the corkscrew but no worries, the friendly staff at Ted's pub opened it for her. She also liked the complimentary local newspaper because she's never been to Lapeer. We liked the location as it was within walking distance to Meijer, Tim Horton's, the movie theater and Applebees. The only reasons I didn't give it an excellent rating: no HD TV and the exercise room felt more like a sauna. I know that's being picky and I would give it 4 1/2 stars if I could. " More >

  "First I have to say Marissa from the front desk wasthe best ,she made our stay...went out of her way several times, called her to our room on 3 separate occasions for items needed that we could have asked her to get in one trip,also made popcorn for us late at night when it was already gone,and also..." in the morning I needed to print a resume and she had a line of people checking in,yet still managed to change the ink ribbon while providing great service to the ppl checking in,A plus employee!
