My king-sized bedroom was very clean and I was amazed at the size of the room. The ceilings must've been twelve feet tall. Alt..."hough the furnishings are a bit sparse due to the room size, what was available was appreciated: a comfortable bed, flat-screen TV, plenty of wall outlets, mini-fridge, etc. There is a small indoor pool that provided for a relaxing swim. Although I didn't get the chance to eat breakfast, the eating area was sizable and looked comfortable. The service was courteous and professional. Traveling through on I-65 or checking out Kentucky's cave area? Stop at this Comfort Inn & Suites for the night, which is conveniently surrounded by plenty of chain restaurants. I slept well here.   "This hotel seems brand new or newly renovated, so everything is clean and has a modern, contemporary decor. It's close to all the area attractions and there are plenty of restaurant options close by. The staff was great! I am very picky about my room location (high floor and not too close to the ..."elevator, etc) and they were able to accommodate me. They even granted us a late check out, which I greatly appreciate, as I'm a slow starter in the mornings. The breakfast was your typical "free" breakfast… cereal, bagels, sausage and formed egg patties, waffle-maker, donuts, etc., but everything was fresh. Because of my aforementioned sleeping habits, I wish the breakfast was offered till 10am instead of just 9am, but I know that I'm probably in the minority of people that would even care about that. ;) The room was clean and uncluttered, I loved the furnishings!
