The rate was more than I originally wanted to spend but the hotel proved to be the highlight of our trip and well worth the money. If you are looking for a thoroughly modern hotel with lots of electronic gadgets in the room this isn't the place for you but if the nostalgia of a a bygone era appeals to you then I would highly recommend this property. The front desk staff were extremely courteous and helpful, both in handling our reservation and when we checked in and out. I really appreciated that they allowed us to bring our bikes up to our room. I was able to enjoy our stay more because I didn't have to worry about our bikes being stolen.   "While visiting the area with our grandson, we found this family-friendly hotel. Our king studio provided plenty of room with its pull out sofa and wetbar. When we travel with a cooler we use refreezable ice. It was nice to have a large refrigerator but a freezer would have been great. The close..."t was large as was the sink / countertop. We had the comfortable swimming area to ourselves and appreciated the large thick towels. The pool water was a good temperature for swimming as well as for children (hopping in and out constantly). The only thing missing is a HOT TUB / WHIRLPOOL. Breakfast is included; many hot or cold choices (waffles, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, muffins, pastries, oatmeal, Greek yogurt ...) Free parking. The most valuable asset at this Hampton Inn is the excellent SERVICE and willingness to please customers provided by the front desk staff. " More >

  "The best part of our stay was definitely the comfort of the bed. It was a perfect feel and the sheets were like BUTTA.... Good size room but the air conditioner leaked on the carpet which we were told "happens when u run the air for awhile"... Not a big problem. Just hope they don't end up with mold..." problems...We knew where this hotel was but if someone didn't; they might have a little trouble finding it as there is no sign at the driveway. (Right behind the Chili's restaurant. Uses the same driveway.) " More >
