It was near a shopping center, restaurants, etc. They were able to do a late check in for us, and were fast and friendly during check-in and out. We had no issues with noise, but it was a thursday night so it's possible that there weren't a lot of guests. The hotel felt new/recently renovated, very clean and luxe.   "The Lexington Inn sits among many choices. We chose it because of the low price and good reviews. We only needed a decent few hours sleep to finish our drive home. Mission accomplished. The only weird thing about it is that from the outside the building looks brand new. The lobby too looks very new...." Our room was a bit worn; some frayed carpeting, a ripped dust ruffle, an old TV ... And the hallways were quite scuffed up from being hit with suitcases and carts.   "Stayed here on a looooong roadtrip from Michigan to Texas with husband and 4-year old. Super clean, lovely lobby, smiling staff, easy access elevator, quiet carpeting on guest room corridor, and large sleeping room with HUGE bathroom. Finally enough towels--you know how a lot of mid-tier hotels try ..."to skimp on this? These were aplenty and actually fluffy. After a long day, this was very welcome. King-sized bed was enormous--requiring mounting an expedition to reach the other side, and finaslly, the mattress was not lumpy, not too soft, not too hard. Breakfast the next morning was plenty and tasty--they had omelets instead of scrambled eggs, tasty sausage patties, fresh fruit and decent coffee. HIghly recommending for those who need a relaxing, no-frills but comfortable refuge between hard days of travel. " More >
