I called ahead, check in was fast & friendly - no extra charges for pets - & at the AAA discounted rate of $75+tax a really good deal. The room was clean, ample tho not over-sized, on the ground floor, convenient to outside, the TV a beautiful flat screen, frig/m-w, comfy beds. Unfortunately, there was a strong cat urine odor & the armchair upholstery was frayed as tho having been used as a scratching post....not the greatest, but we adapted. There were other guests with dogs & I find pet people are always chatty when outside exercising their pets.   "We've stayed here in Dec 11 and Dec 12. We use it as a stop on our road trip from NJ to FL. Both times we were able to check in a little early. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Rooms are always very clean and anytime we've needed extra towels or toiletries they've always been really quick...." We have 3 preteens/teens so its important to have room for everyone and this is the perfect size room for the 5 of us. We are already planning on making our stop for our Dec 13 trip. They do have a free breakfast but we are normally on the road early so we have not seen the options. My kids love the cookies though and they had decent coffee out each time we checked it. " More >
