  "The resort may be ill-named as such, but it is a simple oasis for spending a quiet night or two. The grounds and office are decorated with local art and pottery. We stayed in a cabin, which wasn't really rustic as described. It may not have the matched furniture of a motel room, but it had chair, ..."table, night table, shelf, and bed. The interior was simple but quite comfortable - really all I wanted was decent shower, icy air-conditioning and a bed to sink into. All requirements met! The bathroom was very small, but fit the bill. The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful. Only cons were the cabin door (rickety; would not feel safe staying alone) and the hot springs. The building housing the springs looked quite inviting but it is near several trailers (again, not sure about safety if venturing to the springs alone). " More >
