This hotel is a fantastic hotel for runners in that it's located right next to the Los Gatos High School track as well as being very close to the Los Gatos Creek Trail - which runs up into the foothills of the Santa Cruz mountains. I ran on the trails during my stay, and they are fantastic. It's hard to believe you are 20 minutes from the middle of the Silicon Valley. The hotel room was clean but not fancy. This is not an elegant hotel but rather series of small 2-story buildings scattered about a relatively large property.   "Stayed at the Toll House for just one night but was thrilled with the outstanding service. Checked in and front desk informed me that they were upgrading me from a Queen room to their largest in the hotel! Usually, upgrades are underwhelming but they really hooked me up. The room had a separate l..."iving room, an outdoor deck, huge bedroom with fireplace, sitting area and two flat screen tvs. The bathroom was fantastic with everything you could possibly need. After a great night I had breakfast in their restaurant and was served by friendly attentive staff and enjoyed a really well prepared breakfast. Back to the front desk staff I asked if they had a business center where I could print out a couple of pages and since it was only a few they offered to print it out for me to make things easier. I just can't say enough positive things about my stay at the Toll House and just wish it had been a little longer so I could have really enjoyed Los Gatos and all it has to offer. " More >
