  "These small cabins are in an isolated area near, but not on, June Lake. They are very well maintained and in a beautiful location. The kitchen had everything we needed and there are propane grills on the decks. The views are beautiful and there is a small creek that runs right next to the cabins...." While they are a little close together, they are set up so that you feel you are in your own private space. We loved the lazy boys and the excellent internet connection. Check in was a breeze, thanks to one of the kids manning the desk, and we did not need to call them for a single thing. After seeing the congestion and the prices in Yosemite Valley, I would never stay there. Reverse Creek gives easy access to the Tioga Road entrance (check to make sure it is open) and the road up to that entrance is magnificent. A living room, a full kitchen, a bedroom and a surprisingly nice bathroom. The "apartment" might not be the most luxurious place in the world, but it's hard to beat for functionality. Personally, I doubt that the fishermen care. They were all out on the lake by 6:00 AM looking for the "big one"...:) If you're looking for "action" June Lake might not be for you. June Lake is small and quiet. Tiger's, a hamburger-type of joint, is well known and has been around for years.   "This is an amazing place to stay. Built in 1928 and has that old time charm yet the rooms are all newly updated. The lobby has a huge fireplace and it also has a Jacuzzi and amazing views of the lake and mountains. Small little town but fun place to stay. We were afraid it would old and not fun ..."to stay in but the staff was amazing the rooms were great with a kitchen and table and living room area. I highly recommend this place and I hope to go back someday. Oh, there were movie stars that have stayed there in the past such as Bob Hope and many others.
