  "My wife and I stayed here for two nights while on a road trip in the Placerville area. Our arrival was efficient. We were not put off by the hotel's exterior as some reviewers were, but it is a work in progress. Upon arrival, the front desk attendant didn't smile, but reservation was in order an..."d check-in complete. We had requested a ground floor room and was able to park our car right in front. This made for an easy unload and load. Our double queen room was spacious and clean and not too dated decor wise. However, the sink was a slow drain and there was fluctuating water pressure when taking a shower. The vanity is outside the room with shower and toilet, which we like. The air conditioner on a 95 degree day did a good job of cooling the room down quickly. Some road noise was heard from the frontage road, not the freeway.
